Hello everyone. How's everyone doing?
I'm doing well. It's been a good summer. I know that I email some of you about the situation I had with a friend. But I'm doing really well.

What I've learned is that when you come to someone's aid, no matter what the outcome; the bottom line is that you weren't selfish. I did something for somebody and went out of my way for them and it didn't turn out great. But I know that whatever the situation they have. I have pray for them and break away from them. I brokedown a few times until I realize that I'm not selfish. I wanted to help someone in need and hope for the good to come out but it didn't. All I can do for them is to hope for the best.

I took a trip to San Antonio, ( a town in South Texas, where the alamo is located) with a group to visit other universities. It wasn't really that great because the group was more into themselves rather than talking to me. From that I learned that it's better to be not say anything to anybody. Too many people are stuck up nowadays. God knows why.

But things got better, thanks to people at the Orientation who made me feel that way. Welcomed and true camaderie with the campus. Something that I was missing for 3 and a half years at my college.

Since then things have been looking up for me. I just turned 22 yesterday the 28th of July and now getting everything ready to go to the University of North Texas.

At the beginning of the year, I had doubts about my dreams but someone told me that I'm closer than I think to it. And they were right. My card debt is gone and I have more money to buy my art supplies and make art and buy a camera to take pictures of myself and other things around me.

I think there are times in life that we have to appreciate the good things and not think of the bad. Yeah bad things have to happen but we have to have hope because if you don't then life worth be worth living.
